Married girls,
How long did it take to get your name changed after the wedding (if you changed it)
I know I need to start with social security and then do the other things, just curious because I need to book a flight for august 31 and I want to know what name to book it under
my wedding is July 14.....do think i can chang it by then??

I have a similar situation, getting married Nov. 3 & have a flight on Dec. 22 and chose to book my flight in my maiden name so I don't have the pressure of getting to social security/DMV in a short period of time. I would rather be safe then sorry and just book it in your maiden name and change your name after that trip.

I changed everything in one day. I got my ss card within 2 weeks. If you a flying domestically, you would have to wait for your new driver's liscense, which might take a couple of weeks, but I think I got mine in 2-3 weeks.
