where do you go get a new ss card after the wedding? i hear that is the first thing you have to do to start the name change process. also, will i need to change my passport right away also or can that stay in my maiden name? i will need it for my honeymoon so i'm not sure i wil have time to change it.

You need to wait for your marriage certificate to arrive in the mail (usually takes a week or 2) before you can do anything. Then you take that to Social Security and apply for a new card w/ a name change. After that you can do everything else. Everything should stay in your maiden name for the honeymoon, you won't have time to change it
