I don't have any plans to change my name at this point. We figure if we have children then I'll possibly change it over. Though I won't mind having people call me Mrs. MarriedName socially. FH has a very difficult last name and career-wise it could be a little confusing.

how can you do this? i think your paycheck has to be in whatever your legal name is so legally, i would have my maiden name but could i still go by my new last name everywhere else??

I am completely changing my name and doing away with my last name forever. I am glad to be taking FH's name (Garcia) because I won't have to spell it for everyone!!!!!!!!

I am changing my name although I am having serious anxiety about it.. I am so used to my Irish name and FHs last name is soo italian.
