Can you mail your social secuorty application to any local office?
Also I need to pick about 3 songs for my video. One softer. Two more upbeat. I am so bad at picking. Ideas??

Picking songs for our video was the hardest part of the whole wedding for us! We ended up using Lover of the Light by Mumford and Sons for our trailer and Lucky - Jason Mraz; I want to Hold Your Hand - The Beatles; My First My Last My Everything - Barry White; and Is This Love - Bob Marley for the video. I don't know if she's going to use them all since I haven't gotten it back yet.

No, you have to go in person. They want to see the original marriage certificate and won't accept a copy I just went yesterday to SS and to the DMV.

Actually you don't have to go in person to SS. I mailed mine in. You just have to mail in the original.
I got it back, and the new card within 2 weeks.

I live in Queens. Went to the one on Jamaica Ave. and the bonus is that they make you take off your coat, hats, shoes and put everything through the scanner. Fun times! LOL.
