name change question

Hi girls! I have a question....my marriage certificate is in my name hyphen his name. I kept all of my legal docs, credit cards etc in my name for business purposes. Now, thanks to a travel agent's error, it looks like I have to change my passport. She booked an international trip in my married name, which I don't use.

Does anyone know if I can change my passport to the hyphenated last name and still use the ticket? Also, if I change the passport, do I then have to change the rest of my legal info (driver's license, social security, credit cards etc)?

don't airlines usually have a name change fee? If so i would have the travel agency issue new tickets in y our maiden name this way you can fly, it is their error!

i believe before changing anything else, your social security card would have to be changed first.

I think you should be fine if you carry your license with your old name and a copy of your marriage certificate with you that shows your hyphenated name. It's annoying, but you're def not the first bride to have this problem.
