Name Change Question with Poll

I am getting married in June, and I start student teaching in September. All of my forms for student teaching are due before I get married. I have every intention of taking FH's last name, but when should I go through the process of having it changed, before or after I get my master's degree? Has anyone else been through a similar situation? How did you handle it? Is it a huge hassle to change your name with the school?

Its really up to you....however I would change it after I got my Masters Degree. 1. I would def want to see my maiden name on my degree (i don't know why, but I would) 2. all your paperwork will be submitted with your maiden name.....

I would go ahead and submit it with your new name. Why wait to change it?

I do want to change it, that's the problem. I said I have every intention of taking FH's name, however I wasn't sure what the process was going to entail with my school.
