Name changing

Name changing

For awhile I wanted to hyphenate my name- More for formality than anything...if people call me either of the two names I am not going to be picky, but legally I wanted to have my name as well.. I am an only child and I really love my last name..

ANYWAY- we went to get our marriage lic. Monday and I did it hyphenated...after I started second guessing myself...now I feel I might have made a bad decision...and to have it changed again is a pain in the butt...

That's my vent...

BUT my question is...do I need to do the same name changing items as I would if I were changing it completely to FH's last name? With CC company, SS, License,Our house???

Advice please

We already have a house together, what do we do about that...both names are on the mortgage and paperwork

I WOULD HAVE IT ALL THE SAME AS IN YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE

Going through this now...You need to change everything over! Contact your lawyer to change the deed & what not...The mortgage can be changed at the bank which holds the mortgage! Bring them a copy of your marriage certificate when you get it
