Name changing

Ok so what is the procedure for changing your last name? What's the first step????

I DVR 'Get Married' on Lifetime every morning at 7:30.

On one episode, they talked about a website called

missnowmrs.com

I haven't checked it out yet, but see if that is any help!

first step is social security card, then all your ID cards such as drivers license and passport. Check online and you'll be able to download all the forms you need for free.

Then I basically went through my wallet and changed the name of the cards that were in there.

When you apply for your marriage license you have to indicate what your married last name will be and it becomes legal immediately after the wedding ceremony. Then you have to change your social security card etc.
