We have matching ones on our right wrist and plan on getting matching ones on our left wrist.. but no names.. it's just not us.. He will put our kids name on him but that's all..

Oh My God... my friends boyfriend got her face tattooed on his arm about 5 years agao (she had braces at the time too so they were in the tatoo).. needeless to say the broke up about 3 years ago. One day we were looking through one of those tatoo magazines where they change tatooes and update them. Her pic was there.. he changed her to an Indian... but an inidan with braces on.. LOL LOL so funny!!!!!

Absolutely not! And any good Tattoo place won't do it either. The only names you get are children, pets, and the dead. It's very bad luck to have the name of your spouse on you- even if no one can see it!
I am sorry but they will tattoo you with ANYTHING.....why would they turn away business? That does not make sense to me

I agree with Bari,,, I dotn think that a name on someones body is going to make or break the releationship whasoever...
MY FH had my name tattooed on him a few months into us dating.. He is still working on me getting his name.. I have a few myself too , im just a little squirmish lately with needles., But like bari said , I dont beiliev its bad luck,,

I used to be so against tattooing names...but after FH & I got engaged, I really wanted his name tattooed - he was (and still is) sooo against it. So to compromise, after we're married and if I still want it, I'm going to get the M&M logo since our initials are 'M' & 'M'.
And if things don't work out, well I'll just say the tattoo is all about the chocolate candy!

I have a tattoo but it's very small and I want to keep it that way so no names lol. But in case there's someone who wants to do it, my step-dad actually did it in an intereting way. He took the nickname he has for my mom and got the Chinese symbol for it and got that tattooed. I mean if something ever happened to their relationship he would know what it means but for everyone else he can just make something up. I know most people are against it but in case a friend or DH is thinking of doing it, it's just a suggestion.

Look my avatar....I will admit I was very shocked when I saw he did it and it was before we even got engaged. But I think it's awesome. I don't think it's bad luck at all. I am considering having his put on me too. It's your own bodies, it's your own decision and opinion. Do what you want and don't care what others think. Isn't that what makes us all unique??? o
