Narrowing it down

I may have responded to you if you posted this on another board on here, but I can't remember.

Anyway, Floral Terrace is BEAUTIFUL and its about a 20min ride from queens..

I've been to Verdi's in Whitestone for a baby shower. Very good food, no outdoor space for pictures that I know of, extremely limited parking but I guess you'd have valet.

Cafe on the Green is nice too. Some good picture spots, nice overall scenery and the food was good too!

I went to a job fair at Astoria World Manor, don't know too much about it otherwise.

My prom was at Leonard's... Maureen is right, you should look there. I think they're fairly reasonable and the food is delicious!

Does anyone have Leonards prices?

I called Floral terrace and they are really reasonable. the pics on the website look so nice too. i need to drag FH out there one day. Leonards is having a showcase wednesdasy but at 6:30, and the LIE traffic at that time is horrible, i dont think we'll make it in time =( after work

Maybe i should conside an LI wedding?????????


all of my Manhattan People will just have to deal wth it lol

Leonards is BARELY Long Island! I believe its a few blocks past the border. People can always take the Queensborough Bridge and take Northern Blvd all the way out.

Theres always the LIRR. Trust me if people want to go to your wedding, they will make the sacrifice to go.

my boss lives out in great neck, it really isnt that far, im hoping cabs will go out there since its close to the border, ot they can take the LIE straight

If cabs won't take them that far they can always take the LIRR and then take a cab... but I would imagine no cab is going to turn down Great Neck... it's not like its Suffolk. Maybe advise people to call ahead for cars. We have a car service in Queens called Four 2s and theyll pick up and take you anywhere as long as you call ahead.

I think you should choose a place that is gorgeous and affordable and if people want to be there for your day they will make it.
You can put a direction part in your invitation with the number to taxi that will travel and the LIRR directions

queens and Li i know, most of my guests are from manhattan, im wondering if theyll do manhhattan to li and vise versa
