We have been calling and seeing many halls, the field is narrowing down to the following places and I would like any opinions/comments you have to help us...
Rivera-loved but room might be too small Captain Bills-loved, but will not do twilight Harbor Club-loved, but conflicting stories on who owns it? Thatched Cottage-loved, but room may be small, did not like downstairs room AND also conflicting stories about ownership. Timberpoint C.C.-loved Lands End-loved but $$ Danfords-loved, but also may be too crazy on a holiday weekend.
Any help, or other options I might have missed looking at? Thanks ladies.

Re: Narrowing the list down-Help!
My cousin was married at Timberpoint & it was awsome! The food was great, service was great, bar was in the room & had an awsome bar tender that remembered what drinks FH & I wanted after we were there once! It is very pretty for outside CH which they had in June--you could do it in May. The view from the room is awsome-there was a lightning storm just as we sat down to dinner that looked like a light show!
I am a Riviera bride & one of my BM's is at a wedding there right now!!--taking notes & pics for me of course! I will get back to you on what she has to say. they have a great bridal suite, they are willing to do almost anything you ask & they only do one wedding at a time which is nice. The room is very 'homey' & I LOVE the fireplaces! I am having about 140 & I hope that it's not too tight with that many!!!
Good luck & happy hunting!!!

Based on your list and comments it seems as though you've already narrowed it down and Timber Point C.C. is the one.

captain Bill's is great! The food is awesome, especially all their seafood. I booked there for our wedding in July 2005. We got a great price of $82 pp which also included our centerpieces. I think the room is gorgeous and a Sunday wedding can be booked at any time b/c they only do 1 wedding on sundays!! Good luck!

I am having my reception at the Sans Souci in Sea Cliff there room holds 180 max I heard that even at 150 people it is still comfortable. They are right across the street from the beach and only have 1 event at a time.
