My mom is pretty anti the whole surprise thing and keeps asking me where I want my shower. Where did you girls have your showers? Any reviews?

I live in Nassau, but my shower was in Suffolk because that's where my family is.
What part of Nassau do you want? Rockville Centre has a lot of nice restaurants.

Had mine at Davenport Press in Mineola. Food and service were really good. Its also right near LIRR so it was convenient even for people coming from the city.

I have been trying to think of a place that is a good restaurant and also a good place of a shower. I love Dodici in RVC, but it's one big room. I don't know how it would work for a shower.
You could try Nick Diangelo's in Merrick on Sunrise Hwy. FH and I dinner there one night and liked it.
There are also a lot of restaurants in Garden City. I don't know anything about them personally, but it is a central location for people. I think I remember some other brides recommending locations there.

Mine was at Cafe Napoli in Valley Stream. It's an adorable little Italian cafe/sweatshop on Rockaway Avenue. They have great food and great atmosphere. I grew up goign there so it was special for me; only 3 blocks from the home where I grew up.
I'd give it an A: the service was good, but they were a little un-helpful about certain things....and I think we annoyed them because the old ladies were always cold and most of us were always overheated! so the AC was On then OFF, then ON then OFF... But the food and drinks were perfect!!!

Mine was at Mary's backyard on South Oyster Bay road in Bethpage. It is good for a smaller group. We had 22 people.

Haven't had mine yet but I've been to a bunch! The one's I've been to in Nassau are Wickers in Hicksville (I think), Singletons (Hicksville too? not sure) and Pomodorino's in Seaford. All were great.

I had mine at Russo's on the Bay in Howard beach! It was sooooo nice!! Suprise too! They were all so helpful and nice there too.
