Nassau Brides- Where did you have your shower?

My mom is pretty anti the whole surprise thing and keeps asking me where I want my shower. Where did you girls have your showers? Any reviews?

Haven't had mine yet but I've been to a bunch!
The one's I've been to in Nassau are Wickers in Hicksville (I think), Singletons (Hicksville too? not sure) and Pomodorino's in Seaford. All were great.

I think Singleton's might be considered Bethpage

will most catering halls do showers as well?

Yes, if they have a small room.
Milleridge will do it in the restaurant, or a big shower they will do in the Carriage House.

Hemingway's in Wantagh. Had the upper level to ourselves, and I got to pick the wines for the shower myself (I'm a bit wine-obsessed)
Had a GREAT time: the servers and the manager were wonderful.

the food was amazing! the service was wonderful and the room is really cute and modern. and i heard the price was really affordable!

Mine was at Waterzooi, it was awesome. Great food, great drinks everyone had fun.

The waiters were so hot I got nervous for a sec thinking someone hired a stripper.

I've also been to a shower at Singeltons and it was beautiful.

Some nice places for showers were:

City Cafe in Garden City
7th Street Cafe in Garden City (REALLY NICE!)
West End Cafe in Westbury

Those places all are REALLY nice, and have showers. (I have been to all 3)

They do a nice job!

Page One in Glen Cove. I thought they were OK. They forgot to give us the appetizers and the cake was messed up (my name was spelt wrong), but the food was good.
