I live in Suffolk County and really need help with places in Nassau to hold my rehearsal dinner. We are looking to do something non-traditional and since we are not going to have too many people (we are getting married at the reception hall so technically, we don't have a rehearsal), we would LOVE to do a hibachi place! I think this would be so much fun!
We are looking to have everyone seated around one of those large tables where they cook for you in the middle. I am aware that Gasho's by the Roosevelt Field Mall is one possibility but can you recommend others in Nassau? Thanks!!

DEF AMAZING!!!
also, there is a place in Wantagh RIGHT on Wantagh Ave, just past the train track if you are coming from Sunrise (and it's on the right side of Wantagh Ave). It's right on the corner. I can't remember the name of it but it's really good and their tables are bigger then the ones at Shiro's.

Showa Hibachi in Wantagh!! It does fit more people! We went for mine and a frends birthday. They gave us tons of free saki and even a whole cake!! They are so nice in there and the food is great too :)

Shiros is right on Old Country Road headed west toward the Holiday Inn. It's just west of the Source Mall

Unfortunatly Gasho is closed. One day they were just shut down :( Shiro on the other hand is fabulous.. it right down the block from chateau Briand....
