*-*-NASSAU HOME SHOW this weekend, you going?!-*-*
i wrote about this in another post just now, but i figured i'd make my own thread since i know a lot of you have your own house or apartment now...
this weekend is the home show at nassau coliseum. for anyone who has never been, it's like $10 to get in, and they have hundreds of vendors there from appliances to cookware to furniture to cleaning products to landscape...you want something for your home, they have it there!! it's really cool even if you don't purchase anything, just to get ideas for the future.
well anyway, i have to work there all weekend. i work with LIPA, promoting energy efficiency programs, and i will be there ALL weekend giving away free ENERGY STAR light bulbs. you should stop by, learn ways to lower your electric bills and (best of all of course) see MEEEEE!!
this is the MAIN REASON i am not coming to the GTG tonight, b/c i know i would be really tired and working all weekend would be even worse. so come visit me since i can't come hang out with you!!
and have fun tonight at the GTG!!
