Nassau Museum of Art (Frick Mansion) in Roslyn?

Does anyone know anything about receptions here? How much the rental is and for how many hours, how many people fit under the tent, how many people fit inside, if music is allowed indoors, etc. Any info would be great.

I'm not positive, but I recall the rental being $5K, and you had to use their caterer...but I'd double check we looked at a lot of places and I might have it confused with another site.

One of their caterers is Philip Stone. I hear that they are really good. I looked into it but the it really becomes a tented affair, which kind of scares me. Also its a tent that they already have up, its not one that you can request.

I inquired about this with Philip Stone caterers. The reception is outside under a tent and I believe the maximum is about 130-150 people. There is a site fee of $4K-5K and the price per person is $100 and up plus the 20% service charge plus tax. I don't remember the specifics on the numbers as I no longer have the information I wrote down. There might be other caterers who work at this location also. Hope this helps...

And as memory serves from when we looked, you have to wait until night to start when the museum closes to the public. What I did not like about this was that by the time we had our ceremony it would likely be dark outside and thus defeat the purpose of having lovely garden for wedding.
