#1 she told not to give us money for our wedding

#2 she calls me a 'big shot' because I have air conditioning in my car

#3 she told me if i droped 40 pounds I might fit into a size 10 (I'm a 10 now)

#4 she told me my dress looks great, you can barley tell how fat i am

#5 to my mother she said 'you have a perfect body, small boobs and a big fat bottom'

#6 Are you forcing Matthew to marry you, or do you think he really wants to?

Thats a good idea!!! I have great storys. for some reason FFIL HATES me. Instead of kissing me hello, he picked his nose, and while the booger was on his finger said 'I can't kiss you, sorry' then he ate the booger. Meaning, he would rather eat snot then kiss me hello!

She lives in Farmingdale, we live in Massapequa. FFIL used to live like 3 blocks from me but he just moved upstate!!

OMG what a freakin bi*ch. If that were me, I would give her a piece of my mind. I'm so lucky to have great FIL's

I am sorry that they are not nice to you I just can't imagine anyone being that nasty...eating their own boogers is he 2? Good luck dealing with it all...it sounds like you are doing a good job of it now.

I feel ya! Here are some lovely things FMIL has said/done to me...get this:

1) The best : Keyed my car...can't get any better then that!

2) Said our marriage will never work because I wear the pants in the relationship and I think I am such a big shot just because I have an education.

3) Said all FH cares about is his 'damn fiancee'.

4) Threatened not to go to our wedding because FH broke a plastic clock that was hanging on her porche that she picked up out of someone's garbage.


Just to name a few. I get along w/ his father and his stepmother fine. She does this all of her son's serious girlfriends so I shouldn't be surprised.

My question is how DO you hold back when talking to your FH? I have an awful relationship with my FFIL and I can't help but to go OFF on him to my FH and it makes me feel bad how sad it makes him. I try my hardest but it keeps slipping out.

FH has always been very close w/ mom. So we actually fight over this. It stinks, so lately I've been not even telling him about the comments (mainly about my weight) it just upsets him. also, it makes me feel like she's winning if we fight about it.

FFIL is different. He was a horrible father, and although FH know this, he just can't accept it. He didn't want the wedding because he wasn't sure if ffil would even come (we still don't know) it will really hurt him. He actually told his father one year (when his father told him he couldn't bring me over for Christmas) 'she's part of my life, and if I'm coming she is' he also got very upset when his dad ate his snot. Because I feel so sad for him, I never say anything about his dad. Besides that his mother is totally up his butt about his dad (they're divorced) she's always putting him down. So I feel bad, because no matter how bad a parent is, no one wants to be reminded everyday!

....wow I am a very blessed and lucky girl to have a fabulous FMIL.

If you ever want to ralk I'm here. My FMIL came up with this gem when looking at our Disney pictgures 'her *** is a big as piglet's!' and I was going to Curves and trying to encourage her to go, but then I had to quit because of my back... I couldn't even walk for months and I put on 20 more lbs..in that time shge joined curves and lost weight, made me feel her newly sknny waist and said 'nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah'..

She saus nyah nyah to someone who needed help getting to the bathroom, much less the gym,,,I hate her. I feel your pain, girl!

omg she sounds like a very caring mother in law .... i know someone just like her
