Re: National Floral Wholesale
I don't think she liked me very much because I didn't go to the first appointment (got bit by a spider) and when I called her to reschedule she was like 'Yeah, your the one that didn't come last sunday ' She gave us average prices. It wasn't that much cheaper. Pedestals is asking ten dollars less for each centerpiece. One bride here got an awesome price. I'm still shopping till I find the one. Good Luck

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I went there based on reading good reviews on Anna and the prices..but i have to say....Anna was NOT the nicest to me...claiming i made no appointment even though i verified with them twice and then when she would finally sit with me just to talk, she wouldn't budge on prices. It left a bad taste in my mouth and i just stuck with my original florist, burtons, who was able to work with me a little. AND John at burtons is the nicest guy, listened to exactly what i wanted.

Yeah, she told me to get there at 10 then someone walked a second ahead of me and she said 'Oh, I told you 10:30' Then later on in the meeting she says, 'Oh, they just came to make their final payment.' I can't see myself working with her.

I agree with you 100%. It left such a bad taste in our mouths..FH especially, he couldn't get over how cold she was to us. It was odd being that so many people said she was a doll. AND my MOH went to her too and had the same experience. Prices were comparable to other florists and she seemed disinterested in doing our wedding. The fact that we came when she wasn't expecting us (even though i had the appointment) and didn't even TRY to be nice and get business was disappointing.

I had an excellent experience with Ana. We made an appointment the day of, and she met with us - even though she had had a route canal hours before. Never rushed us nor was she rude to us.

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I had a VERY positive experience with them. I booked them on the spot - most especially b/c they beat Pedestals, Designs by Rose, and Flowers by Emil prices.
Amy (NYBride) used themfor her wedding this past weekend.
Other brides using them: lablab lillyofvalley andri
Sorry if I missed anyone!

I'm glad you had a good experience...I know everyone is different and you can catch people at bad times. Maybe something happened the day we met with her. I am the last person to rip anyone apart, but i felt i should share my experience.
I'm sure she's a good person and good at what she does! The flowers we did get to see were beautiful!

Sorry ladies that you had bad experiences Anna has been nothing short of wonderful. Very responsive, full of idea's,DEFINETLY budgable on the price. We had two meetings with her and both were over 2 hours long. I cannot be happier.

that would be me! i was NOT a fan when i went there. all i got was an attitude and a large bill. unless she winds up being several hundred less, i'll stick with burtons or freyhammer

Re: National Floral Wholesale
the 1 complaint I saw about them recently is by a LIW bride who just got married on Sunday. She paid extra $$ to have her bo-k made entirely of pink orchids and when they came in a few days before her wedding, they were purple. so at the last minute she got pink roses.

Christine, the same centerpieces that you had she wanted to charge me 110 for each of them. My price was no where near yours I must say I was dissapointed.

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I forgot to mention that she had printed out the postive posts about her location from LI Weddings and put them on her wall. If she reads this, I hope she'll try harder to be nice to everyone!!! I also remember that she was by herself working that day. She mentioned that everyone wants to get paid and no one wants to work. Maybe I got there on a bad day.

That was me I think. I did have an appointment with her at 10 to make my final payment and to finalize everything ( I made the appointment the week before). Maybe she double booked us? So you didn't like them? I had a positive experience so far.
