Hi, has anyone used them, and can you FM me please if you have? They are a vendor here and are supposed to be 1/2 as much as other florists........thank you!

Christine, the same centerpieces that you had she wanted to charge me 110 for each of them. My price was no where near yours I must say I was dissapointed.
Not everyone is going to get the same price! You have to remember that. I got a discount (significantly) b/c I was literally their first LIWeddings bride, and through relations of Fred...you can't use that as a comparison.
I would definitely compare their prices to other florists, and make the assessment from there.
Good Luck!
PS - $110 is a lot cheaper than many places I've gone to for High CP's.
Also - NEGOTIATE...(without saying 'hey, i heard you're charging XXX for this person) - tell her, listen, I have my heart set on this and I want to book you guys, but it's out of my budget, is there a way to work this out???

I went there based on reading good reviews on Anna and the prices..but i have to say....Anna was NOT the nicest to me...claiming i made no appointment even though i verified with them twice and then when she would finally sit with me just to talk, she wouldn't budge on prices. It left a bad taste in my mouth and i just stuck with my original florist, burtons, who was able to work with me a little. AND John at burtons is the nicest guy, listened to exactly what i wanted.
Yeah, she told me to get there at 10 then someone walked a second ahead of me and she said 'Oh, I told you 10:30' Then later on in the meeting she says, 'Oh, they just came to make their final payment.' I can't see myself working with her.
I agree with you 100%. It left such a bad taste in our mouths..FH especially, he couldn't get over how cold she was to us. It was odd being that so many people said she was a doll. AND my MOH went to her too and had the same experience. Prices were comparable to other florists and she seemed disinterested in doing our wedding. The fact that we came when she wasn't expecting us (even though i had the appointment) and didn't even TRY to be nice and get business was disappointing.
don't worry---go with your gut instinct--- have you tried john with flower michele? he's great and no attitude!

Did you go with a little girl and other people? It was on a sunday.
Yup that was my daughter and my parents. She (Anna) seemed a little ticked off, maybe some people called in sick? I remember I saw you in that little office to the side. Honestly I was happy with what she showed me and the prices, but I didn't actually hunt around for other prices. We just always bought our flowers form there and like them.

Ahh, I wish I would have known. I would have said hi. My Fiance was ticking me off because I made him rush to get there on time and Anna made it seem like I got the time wrong when she told me 10 not 10:30. He thought I was lying to him to get there early. Men

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I was there in March.
My prices (I just checked my quote) were the same as Pedestals, Flower Michelle, and a few others.
I ended up going with someone else who beat everyone by around 400 bucks.
Anna was fine with me, the owner was very friendly. But their price did not budge and I fell in love with my florist.
I say, it's definitely worth to go see. But I would go see others and get quotes.

I had a VERY positive experience with them. I booked them on the spot - most especially b/c they beat Pedestals, Designs by Rose, and Flowers by Emil prices.
Amy (NYBride) used themfor her wedding this past weekend.
Other brides using them: lablab lillyofvalley andri
Sorry if I missed anyone!
Yeah! That's me!

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I LOVED Anna. The only problem I had with them was my bo-k came in wrong but as you can see by my awesome pics they fixed it and I got my second choice before my wedding.
I got so much including an archway for about $1600 or so

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I have to say National Floral saved me with one week to go until my wedding.
I had hired another florist (I posted about this about 6 weeks ago) and was FREAKING out big time because I kept hearing very negative reviews about my first florist... dead flowers, being excessively and consistentlhy late to appointments and weddings, major in-season substitutions. Well, I knew very few florists could accommodate me with ONE WEEEK TO GO.
I originally looked at National Wholesale Floral last August and passed on them to go with another LIW vendor who was all the rave at the time. I met with Anna and they came through with 6 DAYS UNTIL MY WEDDING!! They set up at the hall and all was perfect. They even honored the prices that they quoted me from last August.
I never cancelled the other florist because I would have gotten no money back and she could have sabotaged my wedding. Instead I had my first flrist deliver all my flowers (including centerpieces) to the house. AND YES THE CENTERPIECES WERE NOT TO MY SPECIFICATIONS and were put together in a rush, no care , not uniformly presented, had greenery (said no greenery in my contract). The next day, before DH and I left for our honeymooon, we donated them to the Veterans Hospital in Northport (4th of July bride) and DH's deceased grandmother's nursing home. So we used the flowers from the first florist as a charitable donation... tax right off versus getting no money back.
Anna came through for me IN LESS THAN A WEEK, got me my Revere bowls FEd EXed overnight from a distributor and people raved about the flowers. I also spoke to the owner on the phone and he gave me his cell phone number in case there were problems or I had questions. And yes, I did call it just to make sure it was his.
I'm sorry you had bad experiences. I see some of you met with her on the same day. Could she just have been having a really bad day?

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I also met with Anna. She was nice and helpful but her prices were no where near what I am paying. I was somewhat upset because I posted on the vendor's board looking for a quote with specific items. The quote was almost $1000 less than what they actually quoted me in the store... and nothing had changed. Anna was not able to negotiate the price with us, which is ultimately why I decided to go with someone else.

Re: National Floral Wholesale
I had no problems with any flowers wilting except the kissing ball which I do not recommend. As a matter of fact we decided after the wedding to take the bo-ks off the gazebo and take them home and they are still nice!
