Nationalities post got me thinking...

Nationalities post got me thinking...

I'm kinda jealous of you girls who have lots of culture to add to your weddings...I wish I had something cultural but FH & I are both mutts.. do you think it would be odd if we pulled random traditions from both our heritages? And what would we even do?

I'm mostly German...prob like 60/65 percent...but also Italian, Irish, Native American, French, and Dutch.

FH is Scottish, English, Dutch.

As for religion...he's Catholic, I was raised Catholic but am more general Christian/Spiritual...My Dad is Christian Science, Mom is Catholic, FMIL is Jewish, FFIL is Protestant. So there's like...no one tradition there either.

Well you could use traditions from the culture that you identify with the most, or you could just make up your own. Whatever will make the day special to you.

Re: Nationalities post got me thinking...

yea..greek italian, middle eastern.. u give them in 5s or 7s.

if u dont want to attach them to your favors(which is what every Euro does) u can get those plastic pillow container things that say 'love' on them form michaels, and put them in there.

and have 1 for each guest
