I am a Naturalized American, do I need to do anything if I take FH name?
I asked when we went for our license yesterday but got multiple answers.
Thanks for the help...

Naturalized citizen - name change
All you really need is proper identification (Drivers License/Passport/Birth Certificate/Naturalization Certificate...) When I went to the Queens County Clerk they asked for my license and that's about it.

Don't know. I asked 3 people when we went for our license and got 3 different answers. I'm just going to keep my name, it's easier.

You don't have to change you naturalization certificate it is just proof of your change in citizenship and allows you to get a US passport. Your passport on the other hand must be changed to whatever your last name will be and if you decide to take on your husbands last name and change it officially in the social security office.
