near break-up tonight..

i finally stood up for myself... i walked out and everything...

but he came around and we talked and i think (hope) we worked it out and things will change.

it was a rough freakin night man.

hes out of a job right now so hes depressed and kinda rude to me sometimes... and i didnt really wanna take it anymore. because i do everything for him and then some while he goes through this rough situation... so i snapped and bounced.

hey u have to stand up for urself. ther is only so much one can take if he is mistreating you because he is depressed its not fair. I hope it all works out fo ru.

I think its good that you stood up for yourself..all couples bicker every now and then, I sort of look at it as ironing out the creases, no one likes doing it, but its worth it in the end as long as you don't get burned...

I had a simalar situation with my fh when we were dating. I did the same thing and walked out. Very calmly I told him that I wasn't going to stand around and watch him destroy himself! He was a mess but got some help and went on meds for about 6 mos!

2 years later we are better than ever!

you know, this is so true. It takes a strong person to understand that the other one is just going through a rough time and they shouldn't take it to heart! I know when I'm stressed I sometimes get b*tchy and then feel SO guilty about it afterwards!

I know exactly how you feel. You have to walk a line between being a loving fiance and at the same time a firm hand.

You want to comfort them and tell them everything will be OK, and try to be understanding of the situation. But at the same time, you want to him them over the head with a frying pan because you are so frustrated with having to do EVERYTHING.

that's what happens in relationships...we are basically conditioning eachother. some respond well to the conditioning and some don't. i hope things work out for you guys
