Necklace with strapless dress?

Do you think a necklace is necessary if you have a strapless dress? I am wearing my hair down with a tiara....and my dress sparkles on the top... I don't know if a neckalce would be too much.... ??

My dress is strapless and the top of the dress is lined with crystals....so I decided to wear a small delicate past present future diamond necklace.

But I think that the choice to wear or not wear a necklace is really up to each bride.

If you are not sure, bring a necklace to a fitting with you to see how the dress looks with and without the dress

The top of my dress is beaded and Im not wearing a necklace. I think it would look like too much.

I am wearing a necklace but very small earrings maybe even studs.
Or you can do no necklace and bigger earrings.

I'm not wearing one. I was going to go with pearls but when I put them on with the dress, the necklace took away from the effect.

If your dress has sparkle and I am sure you are wearign earrings-- you really should not wear a necklace-- it's a bit too much.

obviously it's a personal decision, but i think a design heavy top, plus earrings, PLUS necklace is a bit too much. less is more.

i have a very plain dress and don't plan on wearing a necklace. i just like a plain look.

it depends on the dress
for my strapless i'm wearing a simple chain with a diamond cross on it, and studs in my ears

mine has detailing on top, so i am going with semi-dramatic earrngs and no necklace. Try a few things out and see what works...
