Need a bachelor party recommendation

FH needs a good bar to start at for his bachelor party. It's going to be on a Saturday night and he would like to keep it in the village or the west side...any ideas? thanks!!!

If he doesn't mind venturing a little further west, the rooftop bar/pool at the Gansevoort Hotel is hot spot, albeit expensive for drinks. It's on Gansevoort street in the Meatpacking district.
