Need a brutally honest opinion please

What do we think of this as a MOB/MOG dress?

In the champagne color shown....

ETA, these are the same dress, just in a diferent color and one has the bolero... she's getting the bolero for church.

I like it... but I think depending on moms shape it may not work.

I know I look like a beached whale in a dress like that - just saying lol

OK, so listen... I'm seriously one of the most accomodating brides ever.. I didn't care one bit what color the dress was... I just preferred that it not be black cause I find that morbid...

but you guys don't think the champagne is... too light? Like, close to Ivory? That's what I'm *most* concerned about... the rest of it, whatever, it's a little flashy, but it's not my dress.

ETA, maybe the champage just looks realy light on my comp?

I actually know a few brides that have done champagne as a BM dress. You are going to stand out no matter what

My dress is diamond white.

And this is FMIL btw, not my mom.

ohhhhhhh i would so pull the bride card....tell her it's too close to white and you'd like for her to work with a darker color if possible.....or rather i'd have FH tell her that!!!

This is totally what I thought. I love the dress style - but I'd give my mom a hard time about the color.

I don't love the champagne color, but as you said - I wouldn't put up a stink about it.

who cares? esp if its FMIL, because honestly will she really be next to you all day? no.

I took a few pics with my MIL at the beginning.. don't think I was near her the rest of the day.

She already ordered it, that's why I don't wanna throw a fit if it's not that serious. Do you think it is though?
. She's a crossing guard and she is off this week from school so she went today.. and I trusted her to be tasteful cause she typically is.... and she went on a day I absolutely culdn't go and couldn't be in touch cause I was taking the bar exam! GAH!

thats jovani right? My cousin wore it to her sisters wedding and I know an MOB who is getting it. Its GORG!!!!!! but obvi must be tried on.

she wore a sterling color.

Their website only says navy, red, white, and sterling. Sterling is not champagne. I'd have her change the color. My mom would NEVER.
