Need a good internist.......
I have been going to my internist for about 3 years, and while I was very happy going to him, I have not been so happy lately.
I am relatively healthy, however this time of year I get bronchitis or tonsilitis. Well, like clock work I have tonsillitis, and I went to see him this past Friday. He said I caught it before it got bad and turned into Bronchitis, and gave me antibiotics, and I am feeling much better. ( Just a little nauseous from the antibiotics). Well, I still have my tonsils, and the amount of time I get sick with this is about 1 to 2 times a year. I am not getting sick every week etc. Well, my internist tells me, maybe you should think about getting them out, becuase I get sick 1 -2 times a year. Hello, I do not think this warrants taking them out. I am just not happy going there and I feel like I am not being treated personally, am I nuts to be feeling this way? Does anyone have a good doctor for the occasional sore throat, etc.? I am interested in one on the South Shore of Nassau County. Thanks.![]()
