Need a good recommendation please!

Here is the story: DH and I got home on Friday night and went to turn on the TV to relax for a bit before bed. The lamp was already on in the LR/DR. As he turns on the TV the power goes out to the LR/DR. All the other lights in the house work. We fliped the switches in the fusebox countless times! Still, nothing.

DH says that either the outlet went bad, and all the rest follow it on the circuit or the breaker broke. I don't know but what I do know is that we will most likely need an electrician! DH is going to try some stuff, but if it doesn't work then it is above his head.

I am looking for a good, but not overly expensive, electrician licensed for Nassau county (we're in Wantagh). Anyone know someone good?

2003oct10, if FH has any advice we'd be so grateful! DH is a computer guy, and while he's learning around the house and knows how to do quite a lot, he may need some help on this one. Thank you.
