Here is a great link -- one is great even for wet hair and babyliss is supposed to be good for ionics.

I bought the big CHI flat iron at ulta, it was $150 though, but it works better than any other iron I have tried.

Try either wigo or chi...I have one from wigo(79.99) but I heard that the one from chi(150.00) is worth the money.

Re: need a new flat iron- does anyone have a good ceramic one they like and reccommend

I have the Vidal Sassoon Ceramic Iron - 160 watts. It amazing, I use to have a a metal one & it broke a few months ago, it was the best thing that could have happened, I replaced it with this ceramic one & it is so much better, my hair looks so smooth after I use it, whereas before with the metal one, it would straighten out, but it didnt shine, it looked dry. I think I paid about $30 at Duane Reade.
