I'm treating myself to a new bed. I need a good recommendation for a mattress. any brand you particulary like, I like one not too firm but not to mushy. i havent slept well lately and want something to take care of me...
not too hight priced but i could spend a little more than usual...

Sterns and Foster's are great mattresses...there's all different grading, (my aunt and uncle just went through this education process of mattresses!)

Try Macy's, they bought their Sterns and Foster's mattress from them.

My DH works at Rockaway Bedding in East Meadow. He's the manager of the store. He's got a bunch of great beds...in fact we got our bed from there as well. FM me if you want more info..

We bought a Stearns & Foster 'C' Series pillowtop.

Be careful when you shop around .. the reason I say 'C' series .. is because the style name is different depending on the store you shop in .. but the mattress is the same .. so when you go to Sleepy's their S&F 'Chappalhall' is the same as the Rockaway Bedding S&F 'Crisswell.'

It's hard to know from laying on a mattress for a minute or so how comfy it's going to be once you actually have to sleep on it .. we had a really hard time .. we basically knew we wanted S&F .. because everyone seems to love them .. but they all seemed so comfy .. so we settled in at what was a comfy price without going too overboard .. so that's why we went with the 'C' series .. and after nearly a year .. we have no regrets!!
