Okay I've been to a few and I'm getting overwhelmed.
all the prices are so different...package no package..i just dont know anymore.
Any photographers i neeeed to see in ur opinions ladies??

We booked with Patken and I love them so far. The photographer we have is great. We have seen his work and know people who have used him and we love him.

I booked with Visual Concepts in Islip. I loved his work and him and his wife. They do all their work and put together the album themseleves.

We booked with Deja Vu. They are in Mineola if you want to visit them.
I know...it can be veryyyy overwhelming. So many choices. I guess, it all depends on your budget. My priority was the style of pictures the photographer takes, and decent price. I didn't go with albums, because I can't afford them. I am getting all of my proofs on a disc, so I plan on using mypublisher to make the albums. It cut a lot of money off of the price.
I am sure everyone will give you different referrals, based on who they chose, or looked into. I am using Thomas Paul, but I also met with quite a few other photographers. It seems Duet, Patken, Velvet are very popular. Good luck in your search! If you have any questions feel free to fm me!

We booked with Park Ave. We liked Brian, packages include what we want; price a bit high but not as high as the other 2 we really liked....so we went for the best bang for the buck, I guess.
It's a hard decision, but once you see a couple, you'll begin to know what you want in your package and then you can compare different packages to see if they include what you want...if it doesn't, how much extra is it to add on....and that's how we decided. Good luck!

Along with photo quality and price, personality and customer service were big factors in my decision.
I had seen 6 photographers because my FH was never really happy with anyone, until i finally gave up and told him he had to make a decision. He let me make the decision in the end, and I decided to go with the 1st photographer we saw (way back in August!) because I liked his personality, the quality of his work and his customer service. He's an independent photographer, so he'll be working with us from start to finish, and we really liked the personalized attention, too.
We met him this past Friday at a local cafe to sign the contract, and we had a blast with him! We felt really comfortable with him, and when we left, FH said to me, 'You made a great decision.'
We picked Denisimo Photography - fun, funky style, great quality and wonderful people....check out my album of e-pics....

We're using Aaron Almendral. He's very talented and quite reasonable however, he is not mentioned much on LIW. I found out about him from reading another bride's review on here click here
