Need a place to buy nice gift boxes

Need a place to buy nice gift boxes

I have a few gifts to give out at my RD and I don't have boxes for them. Anyone know of a store near Huntington or Wantagh that sells nice thick boxes? You know, like the type Jcrew gives out when you ask for a gift box? THICK cardboard, not crappy flimsy white boxes ...

I don't have time to go anywhere that is not near my house or my mom's so it needs to be near me in Hunt or near her in Wantagh....

Thanks girls!!!!

Jen I think we are the same wave length this week. I have been looking for boxes too. Are you going to wrap them? If not then Michaels' had some of the nice decorated boxes for 50% off -- they didn't have the amount I needed so I didn't pick them up.

They usually have the paper mache (sp) boxes too. That is what I am on the hunt for tonight. I will let you know what I find. I don't want to wrap the gifts -- I just want to tie a bow on it and be done!

MICHAELS! Why didn't I think of that???? I am putting them in bags, so a decorated box might work - what did they look like?? I need them for two men's gifts ... so nothing floral .. paper mache would work too, they can be plain ...

THANKS ANNE!!!!!!!

How big are we talking here?

I know it may sound crazy, but Michaels or A.C. Moore may have some. I know in the Cake decorating isle, they have small/medium boxes that you can use for sending baked goodies to people. They seem pretty durable.

I don't know how cute they would be , Maybe you can add something like a ribbon or something?

No problem. I will let you know what i find tonight. I was in a crappy michaels so their selection wasn't great. The decorated boxes some were coffee theme and some wine -- so not too girly. The paper mache ones they were out of square and had hearts and stars -- NOT what i wanted so I am trying another one tonight on my way home!

Ohhhh ok. I didn't really want a theme. They probably sell plain cardboard boxes though too. I am trying papyrus on the way, will do michaels tomorrow if you find nicer things What are you looking for? I can look at papyrus ...

not sure how big you need but the dollar store had really nice very heavy keepsake boxes that we used for our bridal party gifts, in different sizes, patterns and colors
