Need a Restaurant Recommendation
Preferably in the Queens area (Bayside, Douglaston, etc) that is good for a group and not too expensive.I'm open to anything but a steakhouse... thanks!

Re: Need a Restaurant Recommendation
These are all on or close to Bell in Bayside...Bourbon Street is a nice restaurant it has an american/cajun menu. The food is good and prices are reasonable.
First Edition is a sports bar with a good sized dining room upstairs. Their menu is very diverse and most of it is really good.
CJ Sullivans is a bar with a good menu. The dining room is usually empty.
Cooking with Jazz mentioned above is really good but very small - make sure you call in advance for reservations.

Re: Need a Restaurant Recommendation
If you like Mexican try Tiquilla Sunrise in Bayside or Long Island City, but I think the one in Bayside is nicer.

Re: Need a Restaurant Recommendation
Donovan's is off of Bell Blvd on 41st Street. It has Irish Pub style food. Almost every dinner is $10 or under. It's a very 'neighborhoody' place. I used to frequent there alot when I lived in Bayside.
