need addressing help

my FH has a million cousins in the 15-20 range. if we've never met the girlfriend/boyfriend or they're really young, we're not inviting them with a guest.

how the heck do i word this?

mr. & mrs. bob smith (these are the parents)
mr. kevin smith and ms. angela smith (these are the kids)
address
address

does that do enough to get rid of the prospect of the teenagers bringing a guest?!

what if there are more than 2 kids???

omg having a nervous breakdown - silly stds..........

Do you have enough invites for separate invites for the children? Then you can just address theirs:

Mr. Joe Smith

or

Miss Jane Smith

on their invites.

Or, you can just address the invitations to 'The Smith Family' -- that means parents and children, no dates.

BTW: I believe under 18 unmarried women are Miss.

Just spread the word by mouth that no one under 18 is invited with friends / SOs or have your parents do it.

I've also heard a lot of people having spaces on the RSVP card where it says ____ of ____ attending where you would fill in the second number before you send out the invite & RSVP card so it's obvious that they only have 4 invitations.

I only had two people RSVP with +1s who weren't invited that way and it was no big deal. But I could see with a large family and inviting lots of teens where it could be a problem.
