I bought my wedding dress this past weekend at Adrienne's.. and I tried on a bunch of tiaras and viels..... I fugure I can get a tiara somewhere else cheaper but I think I need to get the viel there so it matches the color of my dress (white ivory). Any suggestions?
In terms of limos, I think I want a car for myself and limos for everyone else. Has anyone priced that compared to two limo's.. is is much more expensive?
And, lastly, I need those big high flowers for my tables.... is there a way to make them cheaper, I hear they are crazy expensive and I'm meeting with Burton's Saturday.
Thanks!

Re: need advice
You do NOT have to get your veil there so that it matches your gown. Just wait until your gown comes in before you make a final decision on the veil. You could try Barron's in Tri-County or other bridal shops or even the internet (ebay, etc).
We had a classic car for us (an Excalibur) and an Escalade for the BP and if I remember correctly, it was more expensive than getting 2 regular limos.
Do you mean tall flowers (like Calla lilys) or the tall stands for CPs?

For you CP's why not having a bubble vase places on a pedistol

Re: need advice
Try asking Adriennes to order you a fabric swatch of your dress. This way you can carry it around and match to any veil & tiara you find.

Tall stands... hmmm bubble vases... I'll look into that....
a swatch.... there's an idea... because I will need it for shoes as well.... I'm going there to show my mother in law to be soon... I'll ask then....
Yeah, I figured a car would be more expensive but I think I may be more comfortable than piling into a limo with my dress... it's a ballroom gown!

Re: need advice
Don't make the same mistake I did!!
Wait until you have a swatch of your dress and then order your veil (if you're ordering it from a place like Barron's).
I ordered mine in light ivory and when I went to pick it up, I held it next to the swatch of my dress and it was YELLOW next to the dress fabric. I had re-made, but I had to pay extra.
Barron's can make them in a week or 2. so save yourself aggravation and money and wait until you have a swatch.

Re: need advice
Also, try veilshop.com. I have a funky colored dress, and work in a bridal salon, but they didn't have anything to match. Veilshop.com sent me a bunch a swatches, and had a beautiful veil to match my dress. It just came in a couple of weeks ago. It's perfect, and honestly even WITH my employee discount, I could not have gotten a better price!!!

Re: need advice
I too got my dress at Adrienes- I found a veil I loved and it was $360- and then 20%- so it came to $288
I went to barons and she said she could kind of sorta make something like what I wanted and it was going to be $150
so the save myself the stress of maybe it matching, maybe me liking it
I ordered the one from Adreienes that I loved and I am very happy I did
