Need advice

Need advice

My FSIL just informed me that is pregnant. She will be about 7 months at my wedding in September. She asked to drop out of the wedding (which I am disappointed and upset about, but that's another post!).

I still want her to participate in the wedding. It came to me that perhaps she could do a reading at the church. The only thing is, I've already asked my readers. Would it be very rude and thoughtless if I asked one of my readers to step down? I'd explain the situation of course, but I don't want to hurt anyone.

Thanks!

i dont know religious stuff, but is there any way you can have FSIL do another reading??? i dont think your readers would mind, but if you could squeeze something in for FSIL, it would be better IMO

and i really don't think you should be angry with her re: being pregnant for your wedding. we, as brides, have to understand that the world doesnt revolve around us and our weddings and a baby is so much more important then a wedding, and if your FSIL won't feel comfortable at the wedding being 7 mo pregnant than its better that way, bc if shes uncomfortable, then she wont be happy for pics and whatnot. so i know its hard bc you planned on having her in the wedding, but be happy for her that she is having your niece or nephew!!

yeah i think you can have more than 2 readers, so i wouldn't ask anyone not to read that you already asked
