Totally fine! My FH told his friend he was saving up to get a ring then his friend went and got a ring for his gf and then my other friend's then bf got a ring and proposed to her before both of them.

Everyone gets engaged at the same time. I think it is contagious.

I have three friends get engaged in one month!

Yup, totally did. This is THEIR moment. They should enjoy every part of it. Now you all get to celebrate together. Nothing wrong with that.

I would have said the same thing, especially the way you described the friend that just got engaged. It seems like she would be really excited that you are all engaged at the same time and have a big celebration. I know I was super excited when one of my college friends got engaged around the same time I did, and if you are all friends then you should all be happy for each other!

I think its fine. my friend and I got engaged at around the same time. Neither one of us thought as the other one stealing our thunder. We actually enjoyed it because we started planning together. I think what you said was fine if they are friends they should be happy for eachother

Agreed, I think it happens in waves and its totally fine and it will be so great for you all to celebrate together! It's not like its the week before someones actual wedding or anything.

I feel like it might be too soon. I'd hate to say he should wait, but I think everyone deserves their own special time. I was annoyed when FSIL got engaged and that was 2 whole months after.

its completely fine. why put your own life on hold because someone else recently got engaged? go with the flow and everyone can celebrate together!

I think it's totally fine. My friends get engaged 2 weeks after us and it was pure excitment. We are all at the age where its happening but if your friend is the jealous type then I would tell him to hold off cause you don't want to cause a fight.

And if he does it next Wednesday, all you guys can celebrate on NYE. Its a special time for everyone and everyone should enjoy it.

That is totally fine! Im sure they will all be excited about it together! Hes not doing it on the same night or week ya know? and he had it all planned already!
