Need Advice ASAP!! *UPDATED WITH A PIC**

So my FG's mom already has a dress that she suggested we can use for the wedding. i honestly dont really care what style dress she uses, as long as its ivory. problem is its white. i know they dont have too much $$ and their other daughter's a jr BM so they will have to shell out for her dress.

is it a big deal that my dress is ivory and hers is white? or should we offer to pay for a new dress?

Here is a pic with me in my dress. Notice my aunt's white shirt- compare the difference between the two colors- it makes my dress look kinda dirty, no?

im a nut so it would bother me and id buy her a dress but if I was at a wedding i dont think id even notice

this has been my yearlong battle with wedding decisions

ITA with another poster -- who said what I was thinking --

Your FG is gonna be really little next to your dress so it won't be like you are standing next to a large bolt of white material. Most likely it won't be that noticeable. But if it is going to be driving u nuts (you know your personality) then definitely offer to help pay for the flower girls dress.

There are a lot of flower girl dresses out there that are quite inexpensive -- easter is coming up so you'll probably be able to get quite a few deals.

Hey Dress Twin!!!

Its really up to you......she won't be in that many pictures next to you but if you're constantly going to be worried about it i would go and get an ivory FG dress....... you can get some really cute ones online for like $40 (as someone else said)......i ordered ivory FG dresses too.......

I would just dye the FG dress to a shade close to that of the BM, like a lighter shade. I would not sue it white. Dye is cheap, so it won't cost them much

ETA: It looks like you're doing blue, so I'd dye it a very pale baby blue

ahh.....if it were me i would buy a new flower girl dress..... but i'm very picky about colors matching....etc...... thats just me though!!!

I would say buy a cheap ivory dress. It would bother me. ( I am a detail freak!) But I can say especially after seeing the differences in the dress and the white shirt.
