Need Advice - Cheaper Honey Moon Options!

Need Advice - Cheaper Honey Moon Options!

We've decided to change our pricey, upscale Honey Moon. We're sad about it, but it's just out of our budget.

Other than Jamaica, DR and Mexico - can you think of anything? I think Bermuda is too cold in November

Can anyone suggest anything like $2500 and under. We were thinking tropical. I looked up some cruises, but none seem to leave on 11/10 which is when we'd be going.

I don't even have a clue what to tell our travel agent since we ourselves don't know.

I decided I don't want to go to Jamaica and FH is anti Mexico and DR for some reason. We're so limited now.

UGH!

What about the all inclusives? or Aruba? (I havent looked up prices so I have no clue, just giving options)

How about Aruba? my parents went last week and they went on cheapcarribean.com and got a great deal for about $1900 (airfare & hotel with insurance!) Def check out cheapcarribean and call them before you book online..they gave my mom a better deal and she said they were wonderful to deal with!

Figures after we blow $200 to get our passports, I too was thinking that. FH has always wanted to go to Key West.

I will look into Aruba. We're working with a travel agent, so we can't do any 'book online and save' deals. But thanks for the tip!

PS I'm all about the all-inclusive!

you can find a great All Inclusive for 2500. if you book your trip at Liberty Travel also you can add it to your Bridal Registry- and that has helped many couples!

dont worry, im sure there are plenty of options we're not even remembering right now. what about the virgin islands, st. john, st kitts, virgin gorda? and if you give your travel agent the budget, maybe they can suggest something we're not even thinking of. good luck!

Any way u would be willing to leave a day or 2 later? A cruise may be your best bet.

I am thinking we may need to do the cruise regardless, yes!

Why don't you tell your travel agent what your are looking for and how much money you can spend and have them suggest something? That's pretty much what I did and she came up with some ideas for me. I mean part of their job is to know stuff about vacation spots.

Good luck, I know you'll find your perfect spot!

I just posted a thread on BHB called 'Caribbean Guide HTH'. I have a link there and maybe it'll help you decide if you want one specific island

There are lots of small yet very very beautiful Islands, such as St. Kitts, St. Thomas, St. Johns, Virgin Islands, Curacao (I highly recommend this one), Antigua...etc...

you may want to look into those! =)

St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Antigua all have All-Inclusives. If you do St. Thomas you don't need a passport since it's a US territory.

You can do...

Amsterdam. Our trips are usually about 1500 pp. This isn't an all-inclusive though. It is possible to do Europe, especially northern, about that time.

Or, the Poconos are good: rent a house and stay in!

Disney, if that's what you're into.

New Orleans

Vegas.
