Ok my gown is strapless for starts. I really don't want to wear a bustier under my gown. I have tried some on, and they are so not comfy. My dress already has bones in it and makes my waist tiny. I was thinking strapless bra, garter belt, fancy undies, stockings. My mom thinks the strapless bra will look funny, and make a line that you can see from other the dress. Mom says I am better wearing no bra then a strapless. Kinda concerned, not the smallest on top. 38 C. So I need to know.
Strapless Bra ? No Bra? Other Options (Maybe Cups sewn in dress) ?

Re: Need Advice Day of Lingerie
I am bigger on top (32D) and I am wearing no bra the day of. I have boning in my dress as well and my seamstress said that my dress will never fall down even if I try to yank it down. HTH!

my sister wasn't sure what she would do either. but once she tried her dress on she decided on just sewing in cups. i think you should see what is more comfortable when you put the dress on.

if you dont want to wear a full bra, they have those half bras that stop on your sides and the glue on to your skin .. I have worn them and they are comfy and they dont show through the dress

Sew them into your dress, wearing none at all will be less comfortable dancing.

i will say that I ALWAYS wear a bra, i am a 36D so i know your concern. Even around the house I have to wear a bra, its just VERY uncomfortable without one. The day i went for fitting, i had on a bra that of course is full coverage was very high and you can see it with the dress on plus in the back my dress scooped a bit so you could see the back of the bra, so i took off the bra just to see what the dress would look like. Of course i got measured then so when i went in for last fitting with a bra on, the top was fitted so tight and perfectly to my body from the measurements of me without a bra that when i put a bra on it was too tight around my chest. So i did freak out a lil at first bc i said i cant go without a bra. But it did have the boning inside the dress and somehow it stayed perfectly without a bra on, i was very shocked. You can always do a strapless and see how it looks like, buy it before fittings to see, most will be fine. I would NOT get cups sewn in. When you have a big chest, the cups usually just end up making your breast look weird.
Also think about whether you really want to wear stockings. Most keep you warm and the dress is heavy.
I wore just VS boy shorts underneath and even the garter i put on at the reception, well in the bridal suite.
