Need Advice from a bride to be!!!

Being a bride... would u back out of being a BM in a wedding that is 1 month after yours, 2 weeks after your honeymoon and the day before one of your best friends wedding of which you are also a BM in. Assuming that you dont really talk to the girl anymore and that you are giving her 1 year notice.

Keeping in mind she was the first one engaged.

yes, but I would explain my reasoning to the bride so she's not hurt.

Absolutely. Especially for your best friend - I know I would want my best friend near me the day before my wedding.

i have a bridesmaid who's getting married one month before me, so i hope she doesn't back out, but if she had good enough reason to, i'd understand.

as far as me personally, if i don't really talk to the girl anymore, i'd back out. A year's notice is plenty of time, especially with everything else going on.

be careful about how you say it though...because she may feel that you got engaged and planned your wedding to be before hers and now don't want anything to do with hers...it could be touchy. be real about how you cannot commit to it but be gentle about it.

How close are you to this other person? I would back out especially if there is still a lot of time. I'm sure she would understand since you have a wedding the following day.

Yes--as long as there is enough notice and you don't think she would be offended---but seeing that she is also getting married--I think she would understand that it is just too much

Politely and giving her all the reasons, I would back out.
