Need advice girls - Does your wedding ring HAVE to match you E-ring?
Stone wise I mean. For instance if you had princess stones in your e-ring and were thinking about a wedding ring with round stones, would this look bad or just fine?

Me for one I dont think it has to match. I seen ppl with princess cut and round stones on their e-ring. You have to try it on together and see if you like the way it looks.
My ring is princes cut. but I also ahve round and baguette side stone. My weddind bad has round and baguette stones going horizontal as opposed to my e-ring which has the baguettes sittign vertically. So its not a perfect match but I think it looks good together.

I dont think it does. If you like how something looks, try it on. If it looks good with your e-ring.....then go for it!

I don't think they have to match, just make sure they look nice together (if you're planning to wear them on the same hand).

You are better off trying it on. I thought since I have a solitare everything would look good with it but, I tried on my aunt's eternity band which is thin and alternates between round and baguette and it didn't look right at all!
My old boss has a emerald cut e-ring with two baguettes on the side and her band has 3 round stones alternating wtih two baguettes and it looks great together.

stonewise I don't think so. I just want mine to match stylewise (antique style e-ring) and sit flush.

i dont think it does. my e-ring is princess cut but my wedding band has round stones. you can't tell though because the diamonds are so close together that to the naked eye they look princess cut. go with what looks good to you...

I did not think it was such a big deal either.. My FH made a comment about it and he does not like the fact that they are not the same stones. Well, babe.. you don't have to wear it, I do! I love it.. I am going to try and post a pic of them together. I really just wanted your opinions girls.. thank you!

You welcome.. most men are like that. My FH is like that too. Everything has to be matchy matchy, drives me nuts. If there is blue in his sneakers than his shirt has to have that exact blue.

My sil has princess e-ring and round wedding band...you can't tell at all! It's all about what you like! IMO
