Okay, I have an extremly fair complexion. I had called aroung tanning slaons to get feedback on how to go about tanning. One place suggested a bronzing bed???
Does anyone know anything about this? I have a 7:45 appointment so I am trying to think of whether I should try it or not. The owner insists that I will get tan.
What do you think???

Re: NEED ADVICE INSTANTLY
i would love to help and i wish i could because i'm really really fair (hence the screenname) but i do't go tanning because i'm terrified of what it will do to my skin. my advice would be not to go, but i don't want to be tan, and you apparently do, so that won't be much help!

Re: NEED ADVICE INSTANTLY
I am pretty fair skinned but i do want some color for my wedding. What i am doing is going little by little. I use a sunnal. The first time i went for 10 min and then slowly move up. This has always worked well in the past, for me.I never heard of a bronzing machine...AND be careful some machines make you look that disgusting orange look.

The bronzing bed's have uv b versus uva ( or vice versa I forget) rays that tan you and you will not burn..I always use one my first two times to get a base tan and i have never burned...a regular bed, even a low one burns me even after a few minutes for the first time...
