Need advice... LONG

Need advice... LONG

Hi,
So what I need some advice on is what to do about one of my BMs. This is obviously a fake name, and I have already gotten married 2 months ago. I had someone I had known for 20 years as a BM. Through the years, we have had our ups and downs, but I always figured we would be freinds. Everyone we have known from HS no longer speaks to her, because she is drama ridden and has no feeling what so ever. In fact, everyone yelled at me and called me stupid for having her as a BM. But I felt I should have her anyway, all the while knowing she would cause some drama right before my big day.
Sure enough, 4 days before my wedding, she decided she wanted to bring a date to my wedding. I told her yes, however there was no room at the bp table, so either he would have to sit at the next table, or both of them could sit at the next table. She wanted me to rearrange my bp tables so he could fit and make 3 tables instead of 2, but it was 4 days before my wedding and I wasn't going to do that at that point in time. At the rehersal dinner, she pulled my best freind (who she didn't know) aside and bad mouthed me to her, saying I was trying to control her bringing someone.
Anyway, as I said earlier, I was prepared for that, cause she starts drama if the attention is not on her. So now, someone I had known for 20 years, in my bridal party, the only one who still talks to her, and she did NOT give a gift or even a card. It has been 2 months. It is not that she can;t afford the gift, cause her parents both still give her allowance... which is her rent and half her car payment per month. But even if she couldn't afford a gift it wouldn't matter, but where is the card or even the congratulations. Cause she didn't even say that.
My friends have said this is a small price to pay for finally realizing what she has thought of the freindship. And, to top it all off, everyone said I told you not to have her. And all along, I knew in the back of my mind, I shouldn't have, but a part of me had wanted to.
So what would you guys do? Do I edit her out of the pictures if possible, do I confront her? Do I forget about everything? What would you do

OMGGGG that thoughtless thing is HISTERICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lololol
Seriously though...I've had friends like that! And it took me a looooooong time to figure out what kind of people they were. And I gave them plenty of chances to continue the friendship, even though people would tell me otherwise...bottom line...
YOU DON'T NEED HER IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are people who love you and care about you, why torture yourself with someone like that!
Send her the thoughtless card and give your friendship to someone who deserves it!!!!!!
XOXOXO
Kitty
P.S- Even though the person is a a**hol* I know it still HURTS!!!

this is my opinion....but only my opinion:
What's done is done. COnfronting her will not fix things, or change the way you feel. You must accept her for who she is.
I do not think you made a mistake by having her in your wedding b/c at the time, it was right.
If i were you, I would do absolutely NOTHING other than recognize that this is who she is, you gave her the chance, and she is not someone who will ever really be happy for you.
Perhaps it is jealousy? I don't know the answers, but I think that without words, she let you know what she's all about.
Accept her for who she is, or let her go.
But that is only my opinion

Sc*ew the gift and the congrats. she could care less that u got married and that u are happy. People like that end up alone in the end.

20 years is a long time and by now you two should know eachother pretty well. Sit her down & explain things from your point of view. Tell ger how unacceptable the things that she has done to you are. Tell her that you are at a loss & are done defending her to others. Hopefully, she will realize that she has lost plenty of friends over her attitude & will loose a life long friend if she doesn't show you some appreciation. If that doesn't work, let her go & don't look back.... and then mail her that picture from the post above.

good luck

You are 100% right. She never will be happy for me or anyone else in the world. I can not accept that. It is time to let the B1T@H go!!! Thank you.
