NEED ADVICE ON BACHORLETTE PARTY!

I was supposed to have my bachorlette party a week before the wedding. ( Sept 6th) Sue to the horrible and nasty rain we were having it was post poned. I was supposed to go into the city and see 80's Prom. My sister told me we would do afterwards and it will be like a Post- Bachorlette party. It was scheduled for November 1st. It was cancelled again 2 days before I was supposed to go. My mom is trying to to get her money back on the tickets and now she says 'You're married..you don't need one' I feel like I was cheated out on it. I think money is the issue. But I wish they could just say 'Okay let's do something else' But I guess they don't think like I do.

So when it's my sisters turn to get married she will be getting a bachorlette party while I never did. I am so upset about this! I was so looking forward to this..and it was promised to me that we would go..now that promise is broken

What do you all think? Do I have a right to be mad and upset? What would you do in my situation?

My best friend didn't get to have one either becasue of a family emergancy. She also wishes she had one. I think you have a right to be upset. But I feel there is not much that can be done about it after the fact.

Sadly...I know...but it still makes me mad that a promise has been broken!

I can understand you being upset and I would be too- maybe you can get your girls together for something in the city and make that your bp.

I'm sorry. I totally understand how you feel. I got married on Sept. 6 and that rain was nasty. I like futuremrsfab's suggestion. Get your girls together and have a girls night out!

sorry you have to go through this and yes you have every right to be hurt and upset about the broken promise, but i would try to get everyone together for something even if its low key, just to have your party and have a girls night!!!!!

good luck!!

Ditto. You're not being a baby, or selfish, or greedy. It's the thought. I'm sorry you didn't get to have one.

What I would do - grab one or two wild girls out of your friends and get rowdy one night. Do shots, dance your asss off and have a good time.
