The priest will not marry us outsude the church but will renew our vows at the venue... so i was thinking a few days before ...just getting married on that thursday night before the wedding and then have him do our vows on the day of the wedding so everyone can see us get married... what do u think? has anyone done this???
FH and I are doing the same thing. I've always wanted a gardent wedding but the preist can't marry us outside the church. So we're getting married a very private lowkey marriage ceremony with immediate family the day before, and the next day he has agreed to do our wedding vows at the garden, and make it look like the official wedding ceremony. Which is great.
thats a great idea, and maybe instead of a 'rehersal dinner' you can have something after your real ceremony

sounds like a fine idea...also wanted to point out there are tons of officiants who would marrry you outside of a church if you'd rather have your wedding day be the day you say your vows and officially marry. GL!
