Need Advice on Playstation2 Games for DH.

Well I finally decided on the Playstation 2 for my DH for Christmas.

I've already got four games for him as a start, but was wondering if there are any 'must-haves' that would be fun for him, too.

So far I bought him...

ESPN NHL (since he loves hockey).

Medal of Honor, Frontline.

Castlevania, Lament of Inocence.

and

Manhunt (which will be released in Nov.)

Any other suggestions???

Look on Ebay, there are alot of games for sale on there. Too bad I didnt have my PS2 still, I had alot of games....I sold it last year though.

There are going to be SOOO many new games coming out for the holidays too..

Does he like sports games? Role playing games? Horror games... Race car games?
Movie games ?

I think he's mostly a horror, war, shooting kind of guy, with a little sports thrown in. Although he's mostly into Hockey.

I think he'd like some of the adventure/role playing ones, too. I tried to cover all the bases in the four that I picked. But some of the other suggestions look great, too!

Do I need any accessories, too? Like an extra controller or anything??

If you get him Sorcom Navy seals then I would get the network adapter because then he can play against other people.

I bought the second controller and I would also suggest a memory card.

Maybe also get him the game pass at blockbuster.. I always rent the games at blockbust first to see if I like the game and then i buy it..

Silent hill is a great horror type game.. I also liked extermination and I have reign of fire, and the MATRIX.. I want the new T3 game too!!!

Really, I have that magazine Gaming, and the screen shots look good, and the terminator charactor looks just like arnold!! LOL

Maybe ill rent it for this weekend..

FH loved the Resident Evil games. The latest one he played was Code Veronica.
He also liked this other game called The Thing.
Both of them are kind of scary, action/adventure games.

Oh, another one he really liked was Devil May Cry. The main character is half human, half demon and he carries some pretty wicked guns.

You can buy them used a lot cheaper. FH prefers to do that since once he beats a game he'll most likely never play it again (most of his games are one player).

Yeah resident Evil and the Devil May cry games are really good.

Also MGS....Short for Medal Gear Solid. I believe they are coming out with part 3 soon. The first one was the best but the second one was really good too.
