Our ceremony is at 11:00. We were told by our church that it will be about a 30 minute ceremony. The reception starts at 12:30. I think this should be good enough time for our guests to get from the church to the hall. The hall is about 25-30 minutes tops, away from the church.
My question is, should I call and ask the church if they could please change the time to 10:30 instead, so we have an extra half hour for pictures taken outside with the bridal party, etc?
Do you think I have enough time to get to the hall?

Re: Need advice on timing with ceremony - Hall
You seem to be cutting it a bit close. I have the opposite problem - too much time in between. If I were you I'd make the ceremony a bit earlier

I agree, I would try to make it earlier. You don't want to rush...

I would try to make it earlier. I think it will be less stressful for you. You will have more time to take pictures.

Thanks girls, Just pray that our church will be able to make the time change!! What if he can't?? Then what? I may not be able to take as many pictures in front of the church.. then that's all.. I guess....
