Need advice on what to do in Long Island...please help!
We are in jersey and have to come into Long Island to meet with Jack and Rose on sunday, its right smack in the middle of the day and rather than drive back to jersey and spend a few hours in the car doing that..we were hoping that if it is a nice day, we would just hang in Long Island for awhile. We DONT know our way very well, but with alittle mapquest we can find anything. We are just looking for something maybe by the water, maybe some outside music and drinks? Can anyone reccommend anywhere nice? That way we can still enjoy the day and drive back later that night.? I am open to any suggestions..and thanks for taking the time to respond!!!

You could go down into Huntington Village. (He is in Woodbury right?) You could also go up to Bayville! Bayville has more water than Huntington.
If you want to drive further out go to Port Jefferson!! But that might be 45 minutes to 1 hour further out (that is if I am thinking where he is,is correct!)

Hey Alicia! Where are Jack & Rose located? There's Eisenhower Park, Jones Beach, Roosevelt Field Mall in Nassau, but I'm not sure how far that is from these guys.

Huntington is a really great town to go and hang out, eat and drink in. It's right up Woodbury Road from Jack and Rose too. There are a lot of great restaurants, and it's a cute little town to shop in. Northport is also pretty close by and it's right on the water, great shops too. If you want specifics just let me know.

Thanks !! I am almost positive we are going to the Woodbury location..whichever one is closest to Roslyn, thats the one we are going to. We dont mind driving an extra hour to hang out somehwere cool, its just that summer is just about over, sunday is our one full day to spend together, we want to make the best of that day. Thanks !!!
