Need advice on wording

Just off the top of my head...of course it needs some 'tweaking'...

When our wedding day is over, there is one thing left to do,
A barbeque on Sunday which we hope will include you.

So meet us in our backyard, at 12:30, good times for all.
We hope to see the kids there too, they're gonna have a ball!

All you need to bring with you are some cool clothes and a smile.

We look forward to seeing you at our last hoorah, and we hope you stay a while!

The proposal came, now we're engaged, we couldn't be more excited,
We're celebrating with a Hawaiian luau, 'August 24th', you're invited.

At 2 o'clock please meet us in our backyard for some fun,
A celebration before we say 'I do', cross your fingers for some sun!

So lets toast with frozen drinks, please don't forget your flowered shirt,
A floral lei around your neck, better yet, a long grass skirt!

We can't wait for you to join us, we know you're gonna have a ball,
So we'll see you on '8/24', if you can't make it, please just call!
