need advice please
i don't know where to begin with this mess but here goes...my sister has caused all sorts of problems ever since i got engaged...not intentionally, i do believe she wants the best for me but on day 2 of my engagement she told my that she thinks my fi should have her boyfriend (of less than a year) as a gm. mind you my sis and her boyfriend live out of state. obviously that wasnt going to happen especially since my fi has only met him a handful of times. Now my sister is insisting that i invite his whole fam (mom, sis and their sig others)! She says that his sister will be inviting our whole fam to her wedding next summer but i think this is all so ridiculous...WE DONT KNOW THEM! and while we may get to know them one day...right now we don't and i understand that my sis would feel awkward if we didn't invite them after they invite us but my fi is pretty adament about them not coming....my fi is pretty fed up with my sis and this has caused so many problems....fights between fi and myself, my sister and myself and even my fi and my dad ( he is siding with my sis) mind you we are paying for this wedding on our own!! and while both my sis and my dad have offered to pay for their plates...but it doesn't change the way we feel.... i honestly feel caught in the middle...i don't want to upset my sister but in this scenario i feel fi feelings are more important!! any answers??
